Biography
Danielle Thralow was ACME Comedy Club's 2016 "Second Funniest Person in Minneapolis and St. Paul," and She was the 2017 winner of Miami's round of Florida's Funniest. She has been on Zach Broussard's list of the top 1000 comedians. Danielle has performed in venues and festivals throughout the United States and is currently the regular host of the Dubh-Linn's Pro Comedy Tour in Duluth, Minnesota.
In her pre-comedy days, she was the founder of over 30 internet-based retail stores including Binoculars.com, Telescopes.com, and Peepers.com. Each store became the online global leader in its category.
She is one of the very few people in the world to have created and led companies to Inc. 500® status more than once. As founder and CEO of some the world’s fastest-growing enterprises, she has earned the award three times. She has been included in the Entrepreneur Magazine Hot 100® list two times.
A pioneer in online commerce, her company, developed original enterprise resource management software to unite her chain of websites. For this, she shared the stage with CEOs from 3M, Medtronic, and Digital River while being awarded the Minnesota Tekne award for technology leadership in making lasting contributions to enhancing Minnesota's quality of life and economic competitiveness.
Eventually, Danielle sold the assets of those companies she founded. She then turned to investing in and mentoring other CEOs.
In 2013, she sold internet.org to Mark Zuckerberg described as “one of the great flips of all-time.”
Ms. Thralow graduated from the honors program at the University of North Dakota.
She enjoys spending time with her daughters, two little girls (at least that is what they are so far), performing comedy, running and speaking about entrepreneurship.
